Legacy Utility systems are challenged by effectively integrating with each other, using big data analytics, machine learning, social media connectivity and therefore lack the ability to proactively plan their response and execute disaster management contingencies. Furthermore, they do not allow for collaboration with local emergency response and disaster management services.
